Is this the start of the no deposit loans again?
Low deposit home loans
Low deposit, when is it going to No deposit? back in the good old days pre GFC a big portion of our loans we wrote were No deposit as first home owners were trying to get into the market then we had a melt down in the financial markets overseas and that was that… That product was gone and now so are the first home owners.
But are we starting to see the return of these products, with a number of lenders announcing new home loans for low deposit holders recently the trend may be returning. All be it these lines of low deposit home loans are available to solid applicants showing good savings, employment and credit history and generally for owner occupiers.
As yet there are no announcements of the No Deposit home loan from any lender but we are starting to see the higher loan to value loans starting to become more main stream again just as it did last time, so as banks fight to get market share lets watch this space!
